Photography is an Art and Photographers are Artist!

I have been asked on numerous times to take photos like an Example from an Image they provide which is from another photographer. No Problem, I can try to replicate that artist. Most times with success this request is accomplished, but a few times I usually get the reaction of “But doesn’t look like the Example I gave You.”

Well, understand we are all Artist and have our own vision and techniques. If your heart is set on another persons product, then hire that person. I look at my profession similar to Musicians; for example a Guitar player. Well, what kind of Guitar player do you need? Jazz, Country, Rock or Classical. Well, I want Classical Guitar player but could only afford a Rock Guitarist. So, hire the Rock guitarist to play Classical?? They are both Skilled in their profession. They both are well known guitar players and very talented. But is it their true art? Get it?

I provide a Service. I LOVE Photography for it truest form; “THE ART OF LIGHT”, “Capturing Moments Through Photographs”. My Definition. I show the world what I enjoy and you choose to have me, if I am so Lucky, to ‘Capture You or Your Time’. Then, I review each photo and add additional value to an image based on my knowledge, artistic flavor, and any technical modifications. That’s it. Your Memory ready to share with your world. Live Your Life, Don’t just Exist…

The Other day while enjoying lunch, I noticed an Attractive young Lady about to cross the street. Then I noticed her walking cane. She is blind. As I watched, she slowly began to walk… She walks right into the first car waiting for the light to change. She didn’t hit it hard and tried to go around. Then, She hit the next car in the next lane. That looked liked it hurt. I felt the pain, I felt for her. She finally made it across. Could it be possible that this beautiful lady recently lost her vision?
Now, she was preparing for the next cross walk. I could see her grip the cane and breathe slightly heavier. This simple task in most minds has become a challenge for her. She made it across without any obstacles. As she headed toward the buss stop, she found herself in-front of the bench, standing facing the street… I still see her breathing heavily. I see the mixed feelings on her face. She may have thought; Why I am Blind? Why do I have this flaw? Should I just walk in the middle of the road? How could I live like this? ~ Actually, that is what I would be thinking if I was her.
The other day, listening to the news which is a daily ritual for me, I heard a story of a father and son that went to a ball game. This is America’s Past-time; A day of Baseball. Just another day where a father and son will enjoy the spirit of tradition; another famous hot dog and soda; another bag of peanuts which you have to throw the broken shells at each other. Just another day at the park. But today was different, the father attempted to catch a foul ball, probably to give to his son a souvenir. As he stretched to make the gallant catch, he slipped and fell 20 plus feet to the ground, were is son is now watching his fathers death. Its just baseball… “There is no crying in Baseball”.
I share humor with everyone I meet. I am a photographer. I capture many moments. I have to orchestrate happiness sometimes because some people never laugh. How could you be so Serious I wonder?
Live your Life, Don’t just Exist… There is so much to enjoy. Get off your so called ‘Brains’ and enjoy the warm weather, the cool beaches, the mile-high mountains! Roll on the hills, play in the mud, chase the birds, drink water from a garden hose… Just Don’t Exist. LIVE!
Find time to enjoy yourself and with your loved ones and friends. Leave your social life aside, your ego, your business, your cell phones, your ill-will thoughts of others, your prejudices, and your Materialistic tendencies; put them on hold for a short time.
LIVE! Create Moments! Live for today AND for Tomorrow.

The Time Is Right!

Since my passion always seems to get the best of me… I find myself continuing the dream.   My Photography!   With new-found friends and hope, I will succeed because YOU believe in Me!  I will talk to you through my art and I hope you will hear it Loud and Clear.

As I begin an aggressive approach on marketing, I feel that the Economy is turning around for my “Service”.  I have found that People are looking again for Photographers; Hopefully me!

Another Year? Really… Where has the Time Gone?

Well, Its February 9th, 2011.  Yup… a whole year flew right by and seems like just yesterday, I wrote my last blog. Funny? Rather silly, actually.

Just wanted to share that I still pursue happiness through the lense.  Simply, I love Photography. I love people! I show love of People through photography.

My 2011 New Years Resolution is to write more about me. My challenges and successes.  My Dreams and My Reality.

Today is a Great Day. Why?  I am alive! Breathing/Feeling/Smelling/Touching/Hearing and Writing. Hopefully Coherently.

Lets the Games Begin!

Lately, in my World

Too  Many Days have since passed from our last conversation.  Its 2010, February 9th and many more days ahead.

Unfortunately, my photography has been on the back burner or simply on the smallest burner on the stove.  The other flames on the stove have taken priority; Life, Wellness and Hope.

My brightest flame is Life.  I continue to meet new people and try to keep up with all the friendships.  One aged photographer had told me that Photographers are alone. We are there for others;  Happiest of moments and celebrations of Life.  I disagree… For I have created new friends because I capture their moments.  I enjoy doing what I do with my new friends; do you? My life will continue to have challenges and triumphs.  Just like yours.  So, we live Life as if tomorrow may never come.  Capture your moments.

As I turn to the other Flame; Wellness.  This past year seems to be full of recurring illness and emotional highs.  I try to eat right… Just forget too. I get caught up on the highs and lows that everyday Life brings to me.  Again, grateful to see, hear, touch, smell and in my special case… Able to Photograph You.

Now, there is this flame that I continue to add more energy; more time, and more thought… That is Hope.  This flame is the one most watched.  If I do not pay attention; I can get burned.  If I let it go unwatched; it can disappear.  I hope for my family and I to have a healthy and rewarding life. I hope to meet more people who may open more doors.  I hope that my work will be seen by people who will appreciate my actions, my art, my eye and my persona.  If you are one of them, I hope to meet and surpass your expectations.

Happy New Year!~!@!

Well, a new day is upon us and History is created daily. From  failed businessess and opportunities lost… we find ourselves with hope and trust for our new Leader of these United States.  My Photography struggles to continue as a business however I too am Hopeful for tomorrow brings us a new day.  I continue to seek photography opportunities and if I turn many stones, one will have that treasure that I seek.

I love what I do… Do you? I meet people everyday and Capture their uniqueness, their individual persona; I captureu U.

Thanks for stopping by and reading about my photography experiences.  I will try to keep you informed on my progress, successes and failures.  My life, like most others, can be very adventurous and rewarding while challenging and full of disappointments.  Like a track star; hurdles to jump, bumps on the track of life, often catching your breath, and the competitiveness of the event….Photography.  Here we go… The rollercoaster has started.
